We had 6 players, on a very chilly late afternoon. We opted to call it quits after the initial 4 games, skipping the finale/playoff. The top finishers were Al Geelhaar, Mark Dopheide, Kathy O'Connell, and Bruce Foote.

We had 8 players on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. After the 4-game switch partners, the top four faced off in the final game. That was one of our best finals of the year, with Laura Berkley and Al Geelhaar edging Kelli and Mark Dopheide, 21-17.

Everyone really likes our club's new "professional" bags. Come on out and give them a try.

We plan to have our regular Saturday drop in on 12/27. It's a great way to work off some of those pounds that you added. Come on out and play!

We had 9 players on a beautiful, warm afternoon. It was nice to have a couple of new additions! We played our usual "Switcholio", where we all play 4 games with different partners and opponents, culminating in a final one-game playoff with the top 4 players. This week, Al Weigel and Mark Erwin topped Ray Sullivan and Al Geelhaar for the bragging rights. Nice job, guys!

We had about 40 folks show up for a fun afternoon of cornhole fun and competition. The club provided water, soft drinks, and snacks during the first 2 hours, with lots of casual play. After the social part 11 competitors participated in a "Switcholio" tournament, where the field narrowed to the four players who were tops in points after 4 games. In the grand finale, Ray Sullivan and Bob Berkley edged the husband/wife team of VaNette and Carter Luther.

Everyone had a great time, and we're already looking forward to the next combined social/tournament event, tentatively scheduled for Saturday February 7th.

We had 4 players on Saturday - pretty small turnout after last week's 20 folks! It was hot during the day, but it was not bad at all when we played from 7 to 9 pm. Don't let the hot days keep you from an enjoyable evening of cornhole! The lights have been adjusted, and now give much better coverage of both sides of the courts. Results from this week: After giving us a small respite last week, Ray Sullivan once again dominated. We played 6 games to 21, with Ray having each of the other 3 as a partner twice each. His teams won all 6, and none of the games were close. Come on out on Saturday and see if you can knock off the champ!

The hospitality committee held a Donuts and Coffee Social on Wednesday, May 7th. Twenty members attended and enjoyed playing a game where you placed the bag with a smiley face on it in the cornhole board hole and won a pinwheel. They also had delicious donuts and coffee.

Yesterday the SBHOA2 BOD approved our club’s request to install lights at the Cornhole Facility. Now the work begins. We as a club need to fundraise for this project. Your BOD has set a goal of $6000 for this project. This is a small amount for a great club benefit.

Our Fundraising Committee will shortly advise their plans for a fundraising activity.

In the meantime, you can donate to this cause right on our website. There is a donation tab setup. Under that tab there is a fund specifically setup for the lighting project. Every little bit helps and gets us closer to our goal. There are several ways to make a donation. Remember that all donations are tax deductible as we are a non for profit club.

Every donation regardless of size gets us closer to our goal. We can begin installation once we hit our goal.

Our first single player tournament was a great success! We had 20 members attend. Although it was very windy everyone had a good time. After being undefeated in 5 matches Ray Sullivan won the tournament and Gary Rowell came in second place.
